Never Give Up

Despite facing extreme opposition and even betrayal from his loved ones, he found strength in God and attained victory over his enemies, eventually becoming a revered king.

  3. "Never give up, for God's plans are greater than your disappointments. His timing is perfect, and He will fulfill His promises." - Jeremiah 29:11 Real-life application: Reflect on the story of Abraham and Sarah. Despite their old age and barrenness, God fulfilled His promise of making them parents and blessing them with a son, Isaac.

  4. "Giving up is not an option when you have an unwavering faith. Trust God's wisdom, even in the face of uncertainty." - Proverbs 3:5-6 Real-life application: Think about the story of Noah. He displayed unwavering faith in building the ark, even when the world mocked him. As a result, he and his family were delivered from the great flood.

  5. "Never give up, even when you stumble. God's grace is sufficient, and His strength is made perfect in our weaknesses." - 2 Corinthians 12:9 Real-life application: Consider the apostle Peter. Despite denying Jesus three times, he didn't give up on himself but allowed God's grace to restore him. Peter became one of the most influential leaders in the early church.

God's plans for you are worth every moment of perseverance." - Philippians 3:14 Real-life application: Look at the life of Paul. Despite enduring countless hardships and imprisonments for the sake of spreading the gospel, he never lost hope and continued to make an impact on the growth of Christianity.

But with God, all things are possible." - Matthew 19:26 Real-life application: Reflect on the story of Moses. Despite his initial reluctance and feelings of inadequacy, God used him to deliver the Israelites from Egypt and lead them to the Promised Land.

Remember, during moments of discouragement, turn to Scripture for guidance and find inspiration in the countless stories of perseverance found within the Bible. Trust in God's unwavering love and be motivated to never give up, for He is always with you, guiding and strengthening your steps.

One of the most accepted history of Osogbo can be traced to 1670 AD. As History had it, It all started with the journey of a famous hunter called Olutimilehin, who hails from Ipole-omu not far from Ibokun. Olutimilehin came across a local Dam while he was in hunting in a place called Gbonmin, around Oke-Baale area ( part of present day Osogbo ) . Amina (Queen of Zazzau)

Amina (also Aminatu; died 1610) was a Hausa Muslim historical figure in the city-state Zazzau (now city of Zaria in Kaduna State), in what is now in the north-west region of Nigeria. She might have ruled in the mid-sixteenth century. A controversial figure whose existence has been questioned by some historians, her real biography has been somewhat obscured by subsequent legends and folk tales. Amina was born in the middle of the sixteenth century CE to King Nikatau, the 22nd ruler of Zazzau, and Queen Bakwa Turunku (r. 1536–c. 1566). She had a younger sister named Zaria for whom the modern city of Zaria (Kaduna State) was renamed by the British in the early twentieth century.
